Maple Finance Launches DeFi Lending with $30M on Solana

Maple Finance has launched decentralized lending operations on the Solana blockchain, advancing its cross-chain expansion strategy. Announced on June 5, 2025, the move brings Maple’s yield-bearing asset, syrupUSDC, to Solana’s platform[1].

To begin operations on Solana, Maple Finance has injected $30 million in liquidity. This capital aims to support lending, trading, and collateral uses throughout the Solana ecosystem[2]. Additionally, the platform is allocating up to $500,000 in incentives to promote adoption among new users and platforms that integrate with syrupUSDC[3].

The syrupUSDC token, which was previously available only on Ethereum, is now integrated with Solana platforms including Kamino and Orca[4]. Through this development, Solana users can access Maple’s lending services, which offer fixed-rate yields near 6.5 percent and facilitate borrowing in a network with high transaction speeds and low fees[5].

Maple’s cross-chain efforts utilize Chainlink’s Cross-Chain Interoperability Protocol (CCIP), which enables data transfers between Ethereum Virtual Machine (EVM) and Solana Virtual Machine (SVM) infrastructures[6]. As a result, users can directly swap into syrupUSDC on Solana or bridge stablecoins from Ethereum with minimal obstacles[7].

The rollout on Solana includes partnerships with Kamino, Global Dollar Network (USDG), and Jito[8]. The $500,000 incentive pool will be distributed across various services and strategies, such as Multiply, Lending Vaults, and liquidity programs, to encourage platform activity[9].

A feature of this deployment is the introduction of “4x Multiply,” which offers users increased leverage opportunities. This capability is supported by the new $30 million in liquidity and syrupUSDC’s inclusion on Kamino Swap[10].

Maple Finance’s expansion to Solana aims to broaden access to its lending offerings and aligns with a trend of Ethereum-based DeFi projects launching on high-throughput networks.
